OCCULTATION – Complete Work On Debut Album

New York progressive psych/horror metal trio OCCULTATION have completed work on their debut album “Three & Seven”.

Following their inaugural “Somber Dawn” 7” EP, with their debut album OCCULTATION (which features EMM of Negative Plane) have delivered what will be seen as one of the most unique, singular, bizarre, and surreal metal albums of the year. By diabolically fusing classic ‘70s prog, cult horror soundtrack, ‘80s dark rock (i.e. The Cure, Joy Division), post-punk (i.e. Mighty Sphincter), and ultimately classic ‘80s cult metal in the vein of Mercyful Fate and Death SS, “Three & Seven” is an unforgiving ritualistic sonic jaunt that dwells within the realm where only vintage nightmares prevail.
