Pacific Northwest death/doom metal cult ALDEBARAN have completed work on their anticipated second full-length album, the follow-up to last year’s “Buried Beneath Aeons” EP entitled “Embracing The Lightless Depths”.
The direct follow-up to their 2007 “Dwellers In The Twilight” debut, amongst a series of splits, compilations, and EPs, “Embracing The Lightless Depths” shall fall as ALDEBARAN’s masterpiece. Epic, colossal, and monumental funeral death/doom of the highest order, “Embracing The Lightless Depths” is a sonic plunge into a vast elegiac landscape of hopelessness and despair. An album where death-defying bleak heaviness emerges as a moving testament that will go down as one of the genre’s pillars.
