DAWNBRINGER – Complete Work On New Album “Into The Lair Of The Sun God”
American heavy metal cult band DAWNBRINGER have completed work on their new album “Into The Lair Of The Sun God”.
Following up “Nucleus”, one of the most acclaimed metal albums of 2010, mastermind Chris Black has expanded DAWNBRINGER’s musical vision even further with “Into The Lair Of The Sun God”. By creating the most musically accomplished DAWNBRINGER album to date, “Into The Lair Of The Sun God” sees Black and co. deliver an album which is more epic-metal in feel and execution, with a warmer sound and production (captured once again by Sanford Parker in Engine Studios), and with even more traditional metal (i.e. “Headless Cross”, “Hammerheart”, and “Holy Diver”) and ‘70s progressive rock (i.e. Rainbow, Blue Oyster Cult) influences being brought out even more.
A concept album about a naïve assassin’s bizarre journey that ends in tragedy, the story of “Into The Lair Of The Sun God” is told in nine untitled chapters. You can hear the track ‘III’ here:
