Encountering Ordering Issues
It seems as of the last little while, some customers (most notably U.S. customers) have been experiencing some ordering issues when checking out with PayPal in our shopping cart system/store (which was set up in a different kind of way since we got the new website done, in order to match the specification codes we wanted to have for the store). The most common issue is that PayPal hasn’t been accepting the address initially input in, by some customers trying to check out which in turn they can’t. To avoid this, when you click on the “Billing Address being the same as shipping address” check box, you have to once again manually put your State of residence (since it has been an issue mostly with U.S. customers) back in in the Billing Address section after the box is checked. So make sure you give both addresses in the Shipping and Billing address sections a final check to make sure that the State in which you reside in matches both. Ultimately, if this doesn’t work, then contact us directly (info@profoundlorerecords.com) and we’ll manually process your order via PayPal.
Another issue, this for overseas customers most notably, that has come to our attention is that sometimes a few orders (not many, just the odd one) coming in from overseas will have Canada and specifically (and……… coincidentally……….) the province of Alberta (AB) come up in their addresses when we get their order notifications instead of their country of residents. For the most part we tend to catch when this happens but again, just to be safe, for overseas customers when your order goes through, just make sure your address is correct.
Also if you’ve noticed in our store, ever since a store upgrade was made not too long ago, all the prices for all items are listed at $0.00 for some reason. Of course when you actually add the item you want to order in your cart for the specific territory you are ordering from, the correct price comes up (and all prices do include shipping, so there will be no extra shipping cost when you checkout), but we’re currently trying to figure out why everything is showing as $0.00 (starting price) by all our times.
